Whiskey Dinner- April 26th, 2013

 On Friday, April 26th, 2013 the Club hosted it’s first ever Whiskey Dinner. The evening was complete with Dixieland music from the Bloomsbury Boys and 4 courses of exquisite food paired with top shelf whisk(e)ys.

Chef Ian prepared creative hors d’oeuvres and dishes including Short Rib & Gorgonzola “Corn Dogs”, Cocoa Nib & Coffee Quail with Black Barley, Roasted Beets & Basil Puree and Apple Tart with Cardamom Ice Cream & Dulce de Leche. Kelly poured whiskeys and provided history and tasting notes on the aptly paired whisk(e)y selections which included Redbreast Irish Whisky 12 Year Expression, Redemption Rye Straight American Whiskey and the 3 B’s of bourbon: Blanton’s, Booker’s and Baker’s. Members left with a fun memento from the ShutterBooth photo booth.
